1st Place in National Undergraduate Research Competition Awarded to BYU ChE Student Christina Muhlestein

Bundy Biotechnology Lab members Conner Earl, Lance Christien and Christina Muhlestein participated in this years national American Institute of Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Research competition with students from around the country.

BYU ChE Student Christina Muhlestein was awarded  1st Place at the National AIChE Undergraduate Research Poster Competition that includes hundreds of undergraduate competitors.  Christina represented Dr. Brad Bundy’s Biotechnology Lab and presented her original research entitled “Streamlined Production of Cell-free Protein Synthesis
Reactions Using Auto-induction Media.”
